Adam Solomon represents numerous advertising agencies, promotions agencies, advertisers, Internet marketers, direct marketers, and telemarketers in connection with all aspects of advertising, promotions, marketing, telemarketing and compliance.
Mr. Solomon has considerable experience in all areas of advertising, direct marketing and promotions, specifically including sweepstakes, complex skill contests, telemarketing, Internet marketing and direct mail. Adam's practice extends from providing advice on the content of advertising copy and telemarketing scripts, to the review and drafting of rules for sweepstakes and skill contests, to the negotiation of complex agreements relating to the advertising, marketing and promotions industry.
Mr. Solomon has substantial experience representing marketers in connection with federal and state regulatory inquiries, investigations and actions. He initiates and defends challenges to advertising claims before the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau. He also handles consumer and business litigation involving false and deceptive advertising issues, unfair competition, intellectual property and corporate matters. He is actively involved in the Promotion Marketing Association, the Direct Marketing Association and other industry organizations. Mr. Solomon has been named by Chambers USA in the Advertising: Transactional & Regulatory section of the 2011 USA Guide praising him for his expertise in sweepstakes and contest laws.
Prior to joining Olshan, Mr. Solomon was a partner at The Lustigman Firm and an attorney at Davis & Gilbert LLP.
